Zoë in Wyrd by Matt Minnicino at Theaterlab NYC (2023)

Zoë Goslin (she/her/ella) is an actor of Dominican and Scandinavian descent (fondly self-identifying as a Domini-Finn) currently based in Brooklyn, NY. Having spent her early childhood in Vermont, she has an affinity for all things winter and wilderness. Zoë studied Theatre and English Literature at Northwestern University where she was taught by some of the most innovative theatre artists in the country. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she studied abroad in Oxford at the British American Drama Academy where she had the opportunity to learn from such brilliant minds as John Barton, Brian Cox, Alan Rickman, Fiona Shaw, Madeleine Potter, and John Gorrie, among many others. She then lived in Chicago for a brief period where she worked with Susan Hart and Jeffrey Carlson playing Joan la Pucelle (Henry VI), Imogen (Cymbeline), and Sonya (Uncle Vanya). In the spring of 2013, Zoë was accepted to the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She spent the next two years there honing her training in acting for theatre, film, and tv, and booked her first voiceover job before graduating in 2015.

Since moving to New York in 2016, Zoë has been fortunate to work with many wonderful theatre companies and production teams. Some favorites include The Public Theater, Manhattan Theatre Club, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, The Playwrights Realm, Parity Productions, and The Renovationists to name a few. She originated the role of Melandre in Else Went’s groundbreaking play Old Names for Wildflowers, and returned to her love of Shakespeare playing Malcolm in Rory McGregor’s production of Macbeth at the historic Connelly Theater. In 2019 she toured with the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival playing Mark Antony in their production of Julius Caesar. She was then asked to participate in their new works series and had the privilege of workshopping Zachary Fine’s new play Bewilderness, directed by Artistic Director Davis McCallum. Zoë has also been lucky to work on two films with the cutting-edge team at Wild Obscura, paving the way for the new generation of female-identifying filmmakers and revolutionizing the way women’s stories are told. Zoë can also be seen in the new PBS series, The Latino Experience, which she filmed this past spring with Iron Glove Productions. Episode 2: Our Lady Lupe, is now available to stream online at PBS.org .
